Graduate Assistant, SOLER
Connor works with the Science of Learning Research Initiative (SOLER) at Columbia University to pursue original research projects investigating the utilities and effects of novel classroom interventions in a higher education context. He specializes in qualitative research methods and educational interventions which leverage emerging technologies. His projects include researching the effectiveness of augmented reality for learning about complex molecules, the value of large language models as “private tutors,” and the effect embodied learning techniques have on students’ ability to learn basic scientific concepts.
